Rotary District Conference "Sharing Rotary is Fun" May 16-18 - Discounted Pricing for Registering prior to April 28
The district's Conference Committee, chaired by David Hansford, of the Kent Club, has an exciting conference planned for our Rotarian's families and guests. Please plan to be with us to enjoy this weekend in May, at The Bertram Inn and Conference Center, in Aurora. We also look forward to seeing the display of your club's project's and activities to share with other Rotarians.

New Vocational/Avocation Directory 2008 for D6630 Members
The new, online directory of D6630 Rotarians has been started. It's in a password-protected area, and offered in both a searchable, online form, plus a PDF version that may be downloaded and printed. As of early April 2008, there are only a few submissions, but Rotarians are invited both to submit their information and preview the directory.

RI Discontinuing Club/District Software
RI is discontinuing the RI-CAS/DAS software and support as of July 1, 2008. The online versions will be removed September 1, 2008. You may download RI's FAQ on the subject here, or contact your RI represenative here to get questions answered. Please note that there are export options in the software that should allow you to port your information to other programs.

Akron Aeros Ball Game Fund Raiser Sponsored by Nordonia Hills May 23
Enjoy a baseball game with fireworks afterwards, all in the comfort of the Canal Park - where every seat is a good seat! The game starts at 7:05 pm at Canal Park, 300 S. Main St, Akron, OH. Bike Trail Poker Run by Jefferson on June 21
Come out and enjoy the outdoors and beautiful countryside along the Western Reserve Greenway in Ashtabula County. Ride, run, walk or skate with flexible distances of 2 - 12.5 miles. Prizes of $100.00 for high hand and $50.00 for low hand will be awarded. Funds raised will benefit the Jefferson scholarship fund and the Greenway Trail.

22nd Annual District 6630 Softball Tournament Sponsored by Stow-Munroe Falls July 13

Club Secretary Help & Information Section
Club secretaries are responsible for filing a number of reports regularly to both the District and RI. This section is intended to help secretaries perform their duties, including reporting monthly club attendance via an online form.
New Guidelines for Grantseekers from the D6630 Grants Committee
District 6630 Grants Committee requires all potential grant applicants to submit a brief Grant Inquiry Form outlining basic information about the potential applicant’s Rotary Club and the program for which funding is being sought. Full details and the form are now available online.

Semi-Annual Report (SAR) Information
One of your first and most important duties as Club Secretary is to prepare the SAR Semi Annual Report certifying the names and details of members of the Club to the Board of Directors of RI. Details here.
Information for the Official RI Directory
Club secretaries are required to send the names and addresses of the incoming club president and secretary to RI headquarters by December 31. Details here.

Barberton Rotary...
now meets at the Green Diamond Grille at 125 2nd St NW Barberton, OH 44203. Meetings remain on Thursdays @ 7:15am.
Euclid Rotary...
now will meet at Kristy's Tavern, 434 E. 200th St., Euclid, Ohio. Kristy's is located on the south west corner of East 200th St. and Tracy Ave. Phone is 216-486-4826. Meeing time is weekly on Tuesday at 12.10 pm. Parking and entrance to the building is in the rear.
South Portage Rotary...
now meets in the basement of The Kelso House, 4158 St. Rt. 43, Brimfield, OH 44240. Meeting time and day remain unchanged. For further information, please call 330-325-1291.
Geneva...
has changed their meeting time only from 1800 to 1830. Day and location remain the same.will continue to meet at the Night Town Restaurant, 12383 Cedar Rd., at the same day and time, for the time being.

New District Calendar
Rotary District 6630 officers, District Committee chairs, AG's, Club presidents or Club secretaries may submit district events, cluster events, and club events that would be of interest to other clubs here.
Member & Attendance Reporting Form
Club secretaries are responsible for filing monthly attendance reports by the 5th of each month. New member inductions (and their sponsors) also need to be reported. Reports may be filed quickly and easily using this online form.
